The Grand Vin is meant to express the tradition-al values of Bordeaux red wines with the advantage of being enjoyed relatively young.

The 2012 vintage was not easy in Bordeaux and took considerable judgment in both the vines and chai to achieve good results. The Grand Vin of 2012 is made with soft extraction to allow the fruit to express itself both on the nose and the palate, is not over ripe, well balanced, with elegant tannins and a long finish.

Gold Medal at Le Concours des Grand Vins de France (Macon) 2014.
